On September 13, 2019, Dr. Yacoobi received the International Sensation Award from DARPAN Magazine at the 2019 Extraordinary Achievement Awards in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The International Sensation Award recognizes the extraordinary achievement of a South Asian on a global scale.
DARPAN Magazine, which denotes “reflection”, has been a pioneer in South Asian media, serving South Asians, who primarily originate from India, Pakistan, Nepal, and other parts of the globe while also setting trends in the Canadian market since 2004.
