Emergency is turning 25 and Galleria Europa will have a photo exhibition set up, which will open on December 15, Sunday. From the first project carried out at the hospital in Kigali, Rwanda in 1994 until today, the association founded by Gino Strada has opened dozens of health centers and hospitals and treated over ten million people in 18 countries, with more than fifty projects currently active.
The volunteers of the Modena group, with the patronage of the municipality, have decided to tell this long and intense story with the images exhibited in Galleria Europa. During its inauguration on December 15th, Manuela Valenti, head of the pediatric division of Emergency, who worked in hospitals in Afghanistan and Suda, and Nico Piro, journalist, and writer, dealing with crises and conflicts will be introduced to speak.
The exhibition, with free admission, will be open until Sunday 22 December on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 18:30; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 to 13:00; Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 17:00; Sunday from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00.
