Did you know that more than one in three women experience gender-based violence during their lifetime? Gender-based violence (GBV) is any harmful act against a person based on their gender identity. It affects people of all genders, but it disproportionately affeccts women and girls.

GBV can occur in the home, community, or in workplace. And it leaves serious and long-lasting consequences for the victim. It can happen in many forms, including physical, sexual, emotional, and socio-economic.
