[2019 Sunhak Peace Prize Laureate] So the more I give, the more I get back

[2019 Sunhak Peace Prize Laureate] So the more I give, the more I get back

Waris Dirie, A Human Rights Activist Who Publicized the Issue of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) to the World

What is your plan?
Compassion. kindness, respect.
But isn’t that what we all want?
Don’t you want that in life? Love and respect? We all deserve love.
And I have the choice to use my love, to give love, to receive love
It’s my choice.
What I can give, what I can give to the world, not what I can take from the world.
So the more I give, the more I get back.
And it’s the circle of life.
Everything living needs love.
Without love, there’s no existence.
So I don’t know what you’re all chasing, but I know what I want in life.
I know where I’m going, and I know what I’m carrying with me: LOVE.
